Delhi
Our
tour starts in the bustling capital city of Delhi, providing a

Mandwa
Mandwa was founded by Thakur Nawal Singh, a descendant of Rao
Shekha after whom the whole Shekhawati region was named. Today
this small town has come out as a major centre of handicrafts and
furniture industry. This castle was built in the year 1755 and is
approachable through two gateways mounted with cannons. Several
narrow staircases and courtyards connect the dinning room with the
rest of the rooms, which were added to the palace over the
centuries.
Bikaner
Bikaner - lying in
the north of the desert state, the city is dotted with many sand
dunes. More popularly called the camel country , the city is
renowned for the best riding camels in the world.
In route on your way from Jaipur (330 km) to Jaisalmer (320 km)
was founded in 15th century by Rao Bika. Known for durries,
carpets, hand painted lamp shades, and mojari slippers. Also for
the camel safari and Junagarh Fort.
Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer - the golden desert city of Rajasthan. 275 Kms
from Jodhpur, also called "Golden City" was founded by Rao Jaisal.
Famous for the Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon-ki-haveli, sand dunes, and
ideal for camel rides and safaris. The city has an interesting
legend associated with it, according to which, Lord Krishna-the
head of the Yadav Clan, foretold Arjuna that a remote descendent
of the Yadav Clan would built his kingdom atop the Trikuta Hill.
Jodhpur
Jodhpur - The second
largest city of Rajasthan, sits on the edge of the great Thar
Desert. Jodhpur city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall with
eight gates serving as entrances. The new city is settled around
this walled area. The Maruthal or 'land of death' , came into life
when the Rathores of Kanauj moved in. But the city of Jodhpur was
founded by Rao Jodhaji in 1459 AD.
Udaipur
The city of Lakes. Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure water
lake, hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravali.
420 km from Jaipur on Jaipur-Mumbai highway also called "City of
Lakes" was founded by Maharana Udai Sigh II in 1568. Also called
"Venice of East" is famous for lakes, palaces (Lake Palace Hotel),
city palace, puppet museum, miniature paintings, and temples (Nathadwara
50 km and Eklangji 20 km from Udaipur). Udaipur is a fascinating
blend of sights, sound and experiences and inspiration for the
imagination of poets, painters and writers.
Ajmer
Ajmer is a blend of Sufi culture and Hindu religion. Ajmer
has always been a coveted and strategic place for the Rajputs, the
Mughals and the Marathas. Ajmer was the seat of administration for
the Chauhans till Prithviraj was defeated in 1193 AD by Mohammad
Ghauri. It then became a part of the Delhi Sultanate. However,
Rana Kumbha of Mewar and Raja Maldeo again established Rajput rule
over Ajmer. The annual Urs at Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti
is held on a grand scale and attracts pilgrims from all over the

Ajmer-e-Sharief Dargah At the foot of a barren hill, is situated
India?s most important pilgrimage center for people from all
faiths. It is the splendid tomb of the Sufi saint Khawaja

Sharif.
Pushkar
Pushkar is famous for the Lord Brahma Temple and camel fair, also
called as Pushkar Fair. Pushkar is also an important religious
place for Hindus.
Pushkar Fair : - The well-known and marked with largest
participation of all the festivals of Rajasthan, Pushkar is an
important pilgrimage as well as the venue of a mammoth cattle

Samode
Samode is quite close
to Jaipur and is a perfect place to spend one's holidays. It is a

Samode is in Rajsthan and is about 42 kms from Jaipur. It lies on

Agra
